Pension
Eligible City of Tucson employees participate in one of two pension plans.
- Civilian employees participate in Tucson Supplemental Retirement System (TSRS)
- Commissioned police and fire employees participate in the state of Arizona's Public Safety Personnel Retirement System (PSPRS)
Deferred Compensation
Employees have the opportunity to supplement their pension savings through participation in our 457(b) deferred compensation plan through Empower.

Commissioned Fire employees also have the option to participate in the IAFF deferred compensation plan run by Nationwide. Fire employees may contact Klark Krauter for information: 520.262.0348.
