Save the Date! Employee Wellness Fair
Join us for our annual Employee Wellness Fair! This year, we’re expanding our focus beyond traditional health & wellness to include financial and environmental wellness. Employees will have the opportunity to connect with a variety of resources, learn more about City benefits, explore financial & educational opportunities, participate in health screenings, and discover simple ways to support their overall wellbeing & our community. - Flu Shots Provided by El Rio Health
We’re partnering with El Rio Health to offer convenient on-site flu shots to help keep you & our community healthy this season! Protect yourself & others! If you are enrolled in the City’s medical plan and are the primary subscriber, you may qualify for a $50 Sharecare incentive for getting your flu shot. Flu Shots will be a walk-up basis in the main exhibit hall. No appointment needed!
- Massages Provided by SpaDaze:
Whether you are feeling tense, tired, or just need a moment to breathe, this 10-minute free, fully clothed massage is designed to help you reset your nervous system, melt away tension, and leave you feeling renewed! Massages will be a walk-up basis in the main exhibit hall. No appointment needed!
- Biometric Screenings at the Fair (non-fasting):
This is a short clinical assessment that measures key indicators such as blood pressure, cholesterol, blood glucose, height, weight and BMI. It involves a blood stick and is used to identify early risk factors for conditions like heart disease and diabetes. The main purpose is early awareness and can encourage appropriate follow-up with your primary care physician. If you are enrolled in the City's Medical Plan and are the primary subscriber, you may claim your $50 ShareCare incentive.

- Breast Exams Provided by BEXA:
We have teamed up with BEXA to give our employees a chance to get an accurate and comfortable Breast Exam at NO COST! Eligibility: All City of Tucson employees ages 30+ enrolled in the AZ Blue Medical Plan are eligible for one BEXA Breast Exam per fiscal year at NO COST. Please have your AZ Blue insurance card on hand when registering for your appointment. A BEXA Breast Exam qualifies for a $50 incentive through Sharecare. Incentives are only available to the primary subscriber.

On-Site Skin Cancer Screenings Provided by Specialists in Dermatology
We’re partnering with Specialists in Dermatology, an in-network provider with AZ Blue, to offer no-cost full-body skin cancer screenings. Take advantage of this convenient opportunity to have your skin checked by a dermatology professional!
Eligibility: Open to all employees, regardless of enrollment in the City’s medical plan, but please bring your medical insurance ID card with you. This appointment is a skin cancer screening only. No biopsies or other procedures will be performed during the screening. If an area of concern is identified, you may be referred to Specialists in Dermatology for a separate follow-up appointment to further discuss. - On-Site Cardiovascular Health Screenings Provided by Vital Health Screenings
Cardiovascular disease can develop without obvious warning signs, which is why early detection is so important. We’re partnering with Vital Health Screenings to offer on-site ultrasound screenings that can help identify potential risk for Stroke, Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) & Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD). These screenings look for concerns such as plaque buildup or narrowing in the carotid arteries, enlargement of the abdominal aorta, and reduced blood flow in the arms & legs, all conditions that may not cause noticeable symptoms until they become more serious. Early detection could make a difference. Take a few minutes to check your cardiovascular health!
Eligibility: FREE to all employees who are enrolled in the City Medical Plan. For those not enrolled, there is a discounted rate of $100.00 due at the time of your appointment. Results are completely confidential. Schedule: HERE
